About the project
“Concert Celebrating the 100th Anniversary of Silesia’s Incorporation into Poland” was our event commemorating an important moment in the region’s history and strengthening local identity. The project combined an artistic layer with historical education so that the message would be clear to both older and younger audiences.
We chose a hybrid format: an in-person concert and an online livestream. This allowed us to reach people who could not attend on site while maintaining the event’s community character.
Process
We began work on 1 March 2022 by preparing the organizational and promotional groundwork. In the first months, we refined the communication strategy, visual identity, cooperation with partners and patrons, and the technical team for the live broadcast.
In parallel, the coordination team prepared the artistic component: selecting performers, repertoire, narration, and the event schedule. The concert took place on 15 December 2022 in the concert hall at Ino Wino Świerklaniec. On site, we delivered full technical support, guest registration, the concert program, and information activities for participants.
After the event, we carried out an evaluation and closed the project. We analyzed in-person and online participation indicators, the quality of reception of the activities, and the effectiveness of promotion, and then finalized the substantive and organizational parts.

Impact
What changed thanks to the project
The planned goals and results were achieved, and some indicators exceeded the plan. The in-person concert was attended by 101 people against a target of 100, and online participation reached 552 people against a target of 300. In total, this amounts to 653 event recipients.
We delivered all key program elements: 1 cultural event, 1 world premiere, 9 Polish artists and production staff, and 6 members of the organizing team in addition to the artists. Digital channels also performed above plan: 1,192 plays and 1,293 unique users.
The project strengthened recognition of the association’s activities and showed that a historical-music event can effectively combine a local and patriotic dimension with modern communication. This is an important foundation for further initiatives with a similar profile.
