GLASSKULE

About the project

“Glass Bridges – from partnership to a joint PL–NO project” is a study visit by our team to the Norwegian partner GLASSKULE. Its purpose is to refine a joint cultural initiative: activities, budget, timeline, indicators and communication plan.

Meetings in Fredrikstad and Halden combine observation of the partner’s work, visits to local cultural institutions and an intensive project-design session.

Process

In Norway we will learn about GLASSKULE’s model of moving from workshops to public presentation. We will visit the places where the partner works, including Halden Library, and compare solutions used by both organisations.

The second part of the visit will focus on joint project design. SWT and GLASSKULE will agree on partner roles, target groups, results, budget and dissemination. The arrangements will support a joint application under the Culture Programme.

What is happening in the project

The visit is expected to produce a ready framework for a joint PL–NO project: an agreed concept, division of responsibilities, preliminary budget, timeline, indicators and promotion plan. It will also strengthen the long-term relationship between the organisations and enable the transfer of proven cultural methods.
